Passion Pit are a wicked awesome Boston band that I had the accidental pleasure of actually seeing twice in concert this year. First in Hartford when they opened up for Videohippos, who i never actually saw as the show went into the wee hours of the morning. The second was as the opener for Girl Talk in New Haven this April. Each time they put on a brilliant blend of MGMT-style electro-goodness and damn near blew me away. They've been getting some much deserved buzz all over the net recently and i personally can't wait for their debut LP, Chunk of Change, to drop September 16th. Wednesday, August 20, 2008
